Sounder (, the end-to-end podcast management and monetization platform built for and with creators, today (October 22, 2020) announced it has partnered with Triton Digital®, the global technology and services leader to the digital audio and podcast industry, to bring seamless monetization to creators and publishers of all sizes.

Through this new integration, creators can monetize both new episodes and back catalog content with targeted, dynamically-inserted audio ads. These ads will be heard wherever listeners stream the podcast, including on leading platforms like Spotify.

“This launch marks an incredible opportunity for every creator on Sounder—regardless of their size or tenure—to monetize their passion, while maintaining control over the listening experience,” said Kal Amin, Co-founder and CEO of Sounder. “We are proud to help this diverse community of voices get heard and be compensated for their efforts.”

Sounder has integrated Triton’s innovative dynamic audio ad insertion technology directly into the Sounder platform, enabling podcast creators to monetize both new and back catalog episodes within the same platform.

In just a few clicks, Triton’s technology will enable creators to monetize their content while maintaining complete control over their listeners’ experience, selecting ad placements (pre-roll, mid-roll or post-roll) and the number of ads per episode.

Advertisers will be able to target their campaigns through Sounder based on a variety of parameters, including content topic and listener demographic data.

“We are pleased to integrate with Sounder, and to provide creators all over the world with powerful and intuitive technology that streamlines the process of monetizing their podcasts,” said John Rosso, President of Market Development at Triton Digital.

“Podcasters are passionate about the content that they create, and we are proud to provide technology that enables them to turn that passion into a business.”

Dynamically inserted ads will be served in podcasts wherever they are streamed, including on Sounder, Spotify, and other major podcast platforms. This capability increases both the value and shelf life of a show’s full catalog of content.

“Podcasters everywhere are interested in monetizing the work they do producing original content,” said David Wolf, Founder and CEO of Audivita Studios. “I am very excited and proud to be a Sounder partner as they roll out their new advertising monetization model. This is a real game changer for folks in our network.”

This launch comes just a few days after Sounder announced a partnership with DAX, the Digital Ad Exchange, to help creators monetize podcasts through direct brand partnerships. Through these two partnerships, Sounder is providing a robust suite of monetization solutions for creators of all sizes.
